Marvin Potts

Marvin Potts, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, July 05, 2018 at his residence.  He was a native of Lyles, TN, a farmer, retired from Murray Ohio, and pastor at Whispering Hills Free Church Of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Inez Wisdom Potts; his wife, Martha Potts; one son, John Melvin Potts; one grandson, Cody Lee Pilkinton; eight brothers, Walter Potts, Wesley Potts, R. C. Potts, Floyd Potts, Clarence Potts, Monroe J. Potts, Vincent Potts, and Carl Potts; and one sister, Retha L. Potts

He is survived by

Terry Potts (Daisy), Lawrenceburg, TN
Joe Potts (Becky), Summertown, TN

Brenda Pilkinton (Tim), Lawrenceburg, TN
Linda Walker (Michael), Lawrenceburg, TN

Eight Grandchildren
Seven Great-Grandchildren

Earlene Chapman, Nashville, TN
Jewell Breece (Larry), Hohenwald, TN

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 07, 2018 at Whispering Hills Free Church Of God.  Funeral services will be conducted at Whispering Hills Free Church Of God at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 08, 2018, with Kyle Conner, Thomas Mattox and Bill Webb officiating.  Interment will follow at Baugus Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
