Lester Dee Allen

Lester Dee Allen, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired brick mason, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hershel and Willie Mae Foster Allen; his wife, Marcia Estelle Campbell Allen; one son, Ronald Allen; six brothers, William Allen, Paul Allen, Chester Allen, Marvin Allen, Carl Allen and Billy Wayne Allen; and two sisters, Lucille Lyons and Opal Simpkins.

He is survived by one daughter, Rita M. White of Carlock, IL; one daughter-in-law, Gloria Allen of Cornersville, TN; four sisters, Genell Garland, Ruth Byrd, Faye Long and Kay Buie all of Lawrenceburg, TN; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, December 01, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, December 02, 2019, with Larry Spears officiating.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
