Kathleen Marie Lopp

Kathleen Marie McGee Lopp, age 82, of Chisholm Creek in Westpoint, TN passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on April 6, 1937 in Wayne County, MI, and later moved to Factory Creek in Wayne County, TN. She was a homemaker, of the Christian Faith, and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Thomas and Etla Rose Hollis McGee; her husband of 52 years, Billy Joe Lopp; four brothers, Stanley McGee, Roy Frank McGee, Thomas McGee, and Douglas McGee; and one sister, Shirley Long.

She is survived by two sons, Maxie Joe Lopp (Jackie) and Billy Doyle Lopp (Diane) both of Westpoint, TN; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dolores Gray (Frank) of Westpoint, TN, Frances Rochelle of Huntsville, AL, and Jo Anne Smith of Loretto, TN; and one brother, Kenneth Don McGee (Debbie) of Hazel Green, AL.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Calvary Hill Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at Calvary Hill Church of God at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2019, with Charles Fritts officiating.  Interment will follow at Lopp Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Kid's Place/A Child Advocacy Center, 614 West Point Road, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
