Karen Denise Legg Brooks

Karen Denise Legg Brooks, born December 17, 1962, passed away at the Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children in Huntsville, AL on June 6, 2019, at the age of 56 years.  She worked at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL for 34 years.  She was a Christian and attended church at the Bethel Church of Christ in Athens, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Wilma Chaney Legg; and her nephew, Andrew E. Willey. 

She is survived by her son, Will Brooks, wife, Danielle and two grandchildren, Bentley and Layla Brooks of Huntsville, AL.  She is also survived by her sisters, Sue Ann Willey (Gene) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Paula Braswell (Jim) of Madison, AL, and Beverly Urban (Wayne) of Five Points, TN; several nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, June 08, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 08, 2019, with Ben May officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
