Johnny Fisher, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his residence.  He was a native of Mitchell, OR, retired from Murray Ohio, a preacher, and a member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ.  He also volunteered as a chaplain for Caris Healthcare.  Mr. Fisher served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Claude and Martha Salina Crane Fisher; his foster parents, Mr. & Mrs. George Chandler; his first wife, Arlene Williams Fisher; five sisters, Estelle Fisher Ramsey, Betty May Fisher Valine, Esther Fisher Golden, Lorraine Fisher Spencer, and Ida Fisher Resz; and one brother, Bobby Fisher.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 19, 2017, with Ed Daniel and Ronnie Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee.  Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
