Janette Shedd Hoar, age 83, of Vernon, AL passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL. She was a native of Belgreen, AL, a Cosmetologist, and a member of Salem Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William Shedd, Sr. and Lucy Mae Turbyfill Shedd; her husband, Ralph B. Hoar, Jr.; two sisters; and four brothers.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  Graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at Dunn Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 06, 2017.
