Janet Kaye Laws

Janet Kaye Laws, age 70, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Muncie, IN, and a homemaker.  Her hobbies included reading, knitting, embroidering, and writing poems.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Kirk; and one brother, Mike Kirk. 

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronnie Laws of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Alisa Sentz of Pulaski, TN and Lorie Jacobs of Lawrenceburg, TN; her mother, Betty Kirk of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren; four sisters, Judy Kennemer, Sharon Stephenson, Sandra Townsend all of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Brenda Elder of Adamsville, TN; and one brother, Larry Kirk of Lawrenceburg, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 with Jesse Cozart officiating.  Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
