George Harold Bowery, age 82, of Ethridge, TN passed away Sunday, July 02, 2017 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Bristol, TN, retired truck driver from Consolidated Freight, and a member of Campbellsville Church of Christ.  Mr. Bowery served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Henry and Ida McMurray Bowery.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 05, 2017, with Theodore Durham officiating.  Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with military honors.
