Geneva Eloise Foster Owens

Geneva Eloise Foster Owens, age 95, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired LPN, and of the Baptist Faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Nola Morgan Foster; her husband, Olon James Owens; and three sons, Rick Owens, Denver Owens, and Steve Owens.

She is survived by two sons, Bob Owens of Summertown, TN and Ron Owens of Chesapeake, VA; seven grandchildren, Shawn Owens (Kelly), Chad Owens (Holly), Lonnie Owens, Michelle Knight (Brian) all of Summertown, TN, Tracie Owens Johnson (Jeff), Katherine Owens Osborne (Ryan) both of Chesapeake, VA, and Patricia Owens of Portsmouth, VA; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2019, with Mickey Brackin officiating.  Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
