Evelyn Cleo Capley, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lester, AL, and retired from the Lawrence County School System where she taught at Ingram Sowell Elementary, Leoma Elementary, and Summertown Elementary.  She was also a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Eva Bassham Johnson; and her husband, Charles R. Capley.

She is survived by

Several Nephews

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:30 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017, with Mark Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
