Dorothy Irene Kilburn Crouch Obituary

DOROTHY IRENE CROUCH “Granny Crouch” (87) of Waterloo Road in Lawrence County passed away November 18, 2019 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.  She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Crouch, her parents Clyde and Isa Bell Kilburn, her brothers William, Willard and Paulie Kilburn and one grandson Chris Grinder.

She is survived by her children, Rickey Crouch and wife Vickie, Kathy Grinder widow of Gary Grinder, Vicky Barnes and husband Randy and Patty Frazier and husband Michael.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She was well known for her homemaking skills, from good country cooking to child rearing and providing care for others. A long term member of Oak Grove II Free Will Baptist Church, “Granny Crouch” exemplified what it means to be a good Christian woman.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 21, 2019, with Jerry McLain officiating.  Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
