Debbie Jean Crosby Hughes

Debbie Jean Crosby Hughes, age 61, of Columbia, TN passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN.  She was a native of Columbus, OH, and of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Crosby; her mother, Helen Jean Lemay Crosby Cozart; her step-father, Thomas Cozart; one brother, Dennis Oneal Crosby; one step-brother, Terry Franklin Cozart; one step-niece, Terri Cheyanne Gibson; two nephews, Bryan Eugene Crosby and William Keith Crosby; and maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Jenny Lemay.

She is survived by husband, Michael Angelo Hughes of Columbia, TN; two daughters, Celena Renee Hughes (Cory Hicks) of Memphis, TN and Barbara Deanna Sills (Bobby) of Boynton Beach, FL; two step-sons, Dr. Christopher Michael Hughes (Kelly) of North Chesterfield, VA and Brandon Joy Hughes (Rebecca) of Duck River, TN; five brothers, Gary Wayne Crosby (Marie) of Loretto, TN, David Larry Crosby of Nashville, TN, Michael Brent Crosby, Sr. (Penny) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Roy Stanley Crosby (Martha) of Lawrenceburg, TN and William Darrell Crosby of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Anita Kay Crosby of Lawrenceburg, TN; one step-sister, Cindy Louise Cozart-McDougal (Lee) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one step-brother, Andy Cozart of Leoma, TN; five grandchildren, Timothy Michael McCord, Jr. (Brittany Dean), Megan Marie McCord, Kaitlyn Page Hughes, Aidan Robert Sills and Ava Leigh Sills; four step-grandchildren, Cora Beth Hughes, Hoyt Levi Hughes, Jase Hunter Hughes, and Lillian Ruth Hughes; and two great-grandchildren, Presley Jean McCord and Danielle Marie Smith.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, May 25, 2018, with Kyle James officiating.  Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
