Charles Harley "Bud" Long

Charles Harley "Bud" Long, age 71, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a farmer, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church of Christ.  Mr. Long served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Visa Clark Long; three brothers; and three sisters.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 01, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Macedonia Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Friday, February 02, 2018, with David Parr and Gary Cordes officiating.  Mr. Long will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
