Carol Eugene Moulton

Carol Eugene Moulton, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his residence.  He was a native of Vandalia, IL,  retired pipefitter and truck driver, a member of Pipefitters Local 597 in Illinois, and Haley United Methodist Church in Bluff City, IL.  Mr. Moulton served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Moulton; his mother, Alberta Wherle Moulton Scott; four daughters, Sandy Cothran, Kitty Matchette, Terra Swinson, and Gena Roberts; one son, Tommy Swinson; two sisters, Vicky Lynn Moulton and Jill Kluck; and three brothers, Freddy Joe Moulton, Jerry Scott and Greg Moulton.

He is survived by his wife, Lucretia Ardella Moulton of Lawrenceburg, TN; four daughters, Shawn Beier of Dwight, IL, Judy Haygood and Patty McNabb (Edwin), both of Lawrenceburg, TN, Johnette Kramer (Eugene) of Kankakee, IL; one son, Jerry Swinson (Julie) of Knoxville, TN; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Linda Lawler, Sue Mey, Becky Hartman, Tonya Langston (Matt) and Jackie Cooper (John); and two brothers, Jerry Moulton (Quita) and Joe Moulton (Cindy).

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2019, with Lanier Nail officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, IL at a later date.
