Carl Eugene Simpson

Carl Eugene Simpson, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Springer Road Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Gilbert and Cester Hardiman Simpson; and his wife, Alta Mae Simpson. 

He is survived by

Harvey Simpson (Cindy), Lawrenceburg, TN
Ricky Lee Simpson (Carolyn), Mt. Pleasant, TN

One Daughter - 
Sue Penix (Duane), Lawrenceburg, TN

One Brother - 
Charles Simpson, Ethridge, TN

One Sister - 
Marie Haddock, Summertown, TN

Seven Great-Grandchildren

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, October 26, 2018, with Nate Bibens officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Springer Road Church of Christ, 900 5th Avenue, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
