Amanda Marie Meyer, age 36, won her battle with cancer with two guardian angels watching over her and family by her side. Amanda was born on April 18, 1982 in Utica, NY to Jim Stinebrickner and Kathy Hastwell Edmondson. She graduated in June 2000 from Adirondack High School in Boonville, NY. Amanda earned her associates degree at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY. She earned her BA in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science and her MA in Elementary Education both from Oswego University in Oswego, NY.
Amanda married Ryan Meyer on July 26, 2011. They have four amazing children, Morgan, Marcus, Ahna and James. She leaves behind her father, James Stinebrickner and lifelong friend (Diane Osborn), Lawrenceburg, TN; her mother Kathryn and step-father Ronald Edmondson of El Reno, OK; one brother, Alan Stinebrickner of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Sarah Seelman of El Reno, OK; maternal grandmother, Diann Hastwell, Boonville, NY; three step-brothers, Michael Edmondson (Kendal) of Rosedale, CA, Scott Osborn (Katherine) of Hendersonville, TN, and Adam Osborn (Semika) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and three step-sisters, Michelle Edmondson and Mindy Newman (Luke) both of Lincoln, CA, and Amanda Rickman (Michael) of Selmer, TN. Along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and amazing friends that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Hastwell, Jr.; paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Marion Stinbrickner; and great-grandparents, Geraldine Hastwell and Esther Yelton.
Amanda worked as a server at Ruby Tuesday's in Syracuse, NY. Her and Ryan relocated to Oklahoma in 2014. Amanda worked at NorthCare as a case manager within the drug court system in Oklahoma City, OK, a job she found truly rewarding. Amanda and her husband ran a dog rescue for twelve years. She had a heart of gold, always wanting to save the world.
Amanda touched the lives and hearts of so many by becoming a spokesperson for Colon Cancer. She will be missed by all that knew her. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support through this difficult journey.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.
