Alvin Lindsey Bearden

Alvin Lindsey Bearden, age 74, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Union Carbide, and a member of Main Street Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles James and Ola Mae Byrd Bearden; three sisters, Betty Jo Gibson, Shirley Gore, and Marylou Wallace; and one brother, Buddy Bearden.

He is survived by wife, Erma Bearden of Summertown, TN; one daughter, Teresa Vincent of Columbia, TN; two sons, Teddy Bearden of Lawrenceburg, TN and Doyle Bearden of Summertown, TN; one brother, Jimmy Bearden of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Woody Littrell, Linda Honn and Charlene Rowden all of Lawrenceburg, TN; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 04, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 05, 2019, with Thomas Mattox officiating.  Interment will follow at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
