Alma Jean Henderson

Alma Jean Henderson, age 77, of Leoma, TN passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lewis County, TN, retired from Henderson Tree Service and of the Baptist Faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertie and Eula May Baker Ashmore; twin children, Gary and Kerry Long; one grandson, Tony Johns; and one great-grandson, Kaleb Johns. 

Surviving are her husband, Paul Henderson of Leoma, TN; sons, Donnie Long (Terry) of Ethridge, TN, Ronnie Long (Carol) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jeff Henderson (Sonya) of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Linda Clark of Lawrenceburg, TN and Peggy Johns (Mike) of Ethridge, TN, sister, Gladys Smith (Johnny) of Lawrenceburg, TN; 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, February 25, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2019.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
