William Calvin Jones, age 82, of Brentwood, TN passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Southern Care Assisted Living in Franklin, TN. Calvin was born in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was the son of William R. and Frances H. Jones. He graduated from Lawrence County High School and attended Auburn University where he majored in mechanical engineering. Calvin enjoyed boating and water skiing on the Tennessee River in Alabama. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Calvin was a very thoughtful man and had a great sense of humor. He was a loyal and devoted husband for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Frances Jones; brother, Dr. Larry M. Jones, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. J.W. Remke, Jr. and his wife, Peggy Jo; brother-in-law, Charles "Sonny" Remke; and sister-in-law, Mary Frances Armes.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  Graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at Calvary Cemetery at 2:00 PM Monday, April 03, 2017, with Father Joseph Mundakal officiating.
