Robert Walker "Bob" Counce, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Savannah, TN, owner of Counce Hardware and Coldwell Banker Counce-Hooper Realty.  He was also a member of Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors, Kiwanis Club of Lawrenceburg, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, and Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. E. and Mildred Walker Counce; and his brother, Mark Counce.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 24, 2017, with Kevin Marston officiating.  Mr. Counce will lie in state at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at New Harmony Cemetery in Savannah, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
