Robert Verlon Hedgepeth, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired truck driver from Kraft Foods where he worked from 1969 until 1992, and a member of Cloverdale Congregational Methodist Church.  Mr. Hedgepeth served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert and Mary Lee Renfro Hedgepeth; and his first wife, Mable Evelyn Maxwell Hedgepeth.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2017.  Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
