Robert T. "Bob" Martin, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, June 08, 2017 in Sheffield, AL.  He was a native of Wheaton, IL, retired from Nalco Chemical Company, and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg.  Mr. Martin served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict in the 40th Infantry Division.  He also served in the Seabees.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Martin; his wife, Marie Martin; four brothers, Charles Martin, John Martin, Edward Martin, and Richard Martin; and five sisters, Marian Schmidt, Mildred Peters, Lorena Geiersbach, Helen Rockwood, and Florence Lux.

He is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg at 10:30 AM Monday, June 12, 2017, with Father Joseph Mundakal officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
