Robert Houston Hamsley

Robert Houston Hamsley, age 98, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.  He was a native of Columbia, TN, retired from Ford Motor Company, and a member of First United Pentecostal Church.  Mr. Hamsley served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Millard and Clara Melissa Moore Hamsley; his wife, Alma Louise Gaines Hamsley; two brothers, John Hamsley and William C. Hamsley; two sisters, Martha McMahan and Lucy Adams; and one nephew, John Carter Hamsley.

He is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2018, with David Martin officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
