Mary Evelyn Self King, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired in home care manager, and a member of Midway Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Norris Self; her husband, Jim King; eight brothers, John Self, R. D. Self, Leonard Self, Clovis Self, Joe Self, Terrell Self, James Self, and Floyd Self; and two sisters, Lillie Garland and Mary Anna Wideman.

She is survived by

Hundreds of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and church family.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 17, 2017, with Randy Kersey officiating.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee.  Family suggests memorials be made to Outdoor Adventures Club, 14106 Cindywood Circle, Houston, TX 77079-6804.
