Martha Jean Marston Newton, age 85, of Leoma, TN passed away Friday, September 02, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Leoma, TN, and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah Lloyd and Emma Lee Springer Marston; her first husband, Taylor Newton; her second husband, Vivian Newton; one brother, Bob Marston; and three sisters, Helen Lindsey, Dot Anderson, and Frances Chance.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 06, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 07, 2016. Interment will follow at Freemon Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
