Imogene Nelson Allen, age 89, of Columbia, TN passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center in Soddy Daisy, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, former employee of Salant & Salant, and of the Church of Christ Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Thomas and Leta Mae Hammond Nelson; her husband, Junior Allen; and one son, Fred Nelson Allen.

She is survived by

Donna Allen Taylor (Harold), Sale Creek, TN

David Allen (Kathy), Westpoint, TN

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2017, with Rodney Livingston officiating.   Interment will follow at Grassy Cemetery in Lauderdale County, AL.
