Hazel Sharpton Franklin, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, graduate of Lawrence County High School, retired from Kay Windsor, and a member of O K Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley and Blanche White Sharpton; her husband, Thomas Howard "Cap" Franklin; and one brother, Leo Sharpton.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM Monday, June 27, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at John Lay Cemetery at 11:00 AM Monday, June 27, 2016, with Bryan Camp and Chad Franklin officiating.
