Emma Nola "MawMaw" Martin, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and retired owner/operator of Martin's Grocery Store.  She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 146, New Prospect Community Club, 10 year member of Relay for Life, and Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sarah Pennington Kelly; her husband, Rudolph Martin; and one grandson, Mickey Hartsfield.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Hartsfield, Mark Hartsfield, John Jones, Charles Godfrey, Eric Martin, Jeremy Bedford, Jake Martin, and in memory of Mickey Hartsfield.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 20, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017, with Larry Liles officiating.  Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Relay for Life of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
