Dorothy May Hood Lumpkins, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.  She was a native of Henryville, TN, retired from Salant & Salant, and a member of First Baptist Church of Loretto.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Hood; her mother, Vola Stevenson Morris; her husband, Billy Lumpkins; and one sister, Cherene Johnson.

She is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017, with William McLain officiating.  Interment will follow at Center Point Methodist Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee.  Family suggests memorials be made to Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, P.O. Box 2206, Brentwood, TN  37024.
