Dorothy Leona McGuire Cheatwood, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Cheatwood; her parents, Thomas Monroe "Bud" and Bertha Bates McGuire; two brothers, Rayburn McGuire and William McGuire; and one sister, Patricia West.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2016 with Jacob Evans and Coy Green officiating. Interment will follow at Shaw Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
