David Elvis Whitehead, age 60, of Waynesboro, TN passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.  He was a native of Summertown, TN,  and a farm hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis William and Virginia Mary Ann Shrader Whitehead; one brother, Billy Whitehead; and one niece, Vanessa Meadors.

He is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  A memorial service will be conducted at Barnesville Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 20, 2017 with Thomas Mattox, Art McCormack, and Ronnie Springer officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown, Tennessee.
