Alvis "Al" Harlan, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at his residence.  He was a native of Appleton, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceburg.  Mr. Harlan served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odus and Ronea Evaline Williams Harlan; and one sister, Celestine Collier.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2017, with David Lay officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
